12/7/23 – This is an excellent example of an Inland M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1943. After disassembly, the gun appears to be completely correct. A complete parts list with markings is included in the photographs. However, there are a few issues: the stock appears to have been sanded, the stock has the faint odor of polyurethane-like substance (it’s not shiny though), and some of the metal parts have been touched-up with what look likes a black enamel paint (mostly only visible on some of the internal parts). The finish on the metal parts rates roughly 85% with thinning along the barrel and general high edge wear. Light spotty oxidation on most of the parts. Except for the sanding, the wood is minty. Comes with one magazine. Mint bore.
