2/23/21 – This is an excellent example of an Inland M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1943. The barrel is dated October of 1943. This could be original to the gun, but the receiver dates to about the summer of 1943. The gun has an Inland stock, handguard, and barrel. Winchester trigger group and safety. The hammer is marked “I-I”. The front barrel band is Underwood. The adjustable rear sight was likely added later for the Korean war. Overall, the gun is excellent, retaining almost all of its finish. There is minor wear on the edges of the ejection port, a few marks on the barrel, and some light spotty oxidation most noticeable on the receiver. The stock is excellent – just a few minor dings here and there, most noticeable on the right side. Comes with an oiler, sling, and a period-correct magazine. Mint bore.
