3/25/22 – This is an excellent example of an Enfield No 4 Mk 1 rifle issued to the British military in 1943. It is matching, dated 1943 on the receiver, and has the proper British proofs throughout. No visible markings on the stock. it has retained most of its black painted finish. In general, there is minor wear around the high edges and around the muzzle. There are some tiny chips in the black finish around the muzzle and front sight. Minty wood stock with a few minor scuffs. it may have been lightly sanded and a very thin layer of lacquer applied. The bore is near-mint.
