3/15/22 – This is a very nice example of an Enfield No 4 Mk 1 rifle issued to the British military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. Very light British export mark on the right side of the barrel. There is minor muzzle wear and some light scratches on the barrel bands and magazine. Minor wear on the high edges of the receiver, and the finish on the bolt handle is thin. Excellent stock with only minor surface scuffs here and there. The bore has good rifling, but there is very minor pin-pricking throughout and some tiny pits in the grooves.
