12/1/23 – This a nice AC 42 Walther P.38 issued to the German military in 1942. All matching with the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with a nice 1943-dated hard shell holster, an un-numbered Walther magazine, and one post-war magazine. The gun itself has retained about 92% of its finish. The majority of the wear is on the front strap, but there is splotchy discoloration on the top of the barrel and on the left side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct bakelite grips. Very nice bore with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
