7/12/17 – This is an original 1942 dated P.38 holster. The back of the holster has a Christol Neuner maker stamp, which is known as the bearskin oakleaf 9. There is a 1942 date at the base of the oakleaf. There is also a waffen eagle stamp next to the maker on the back leather. The stamp is faded towards the right side. Even more faded is the “P.38” stamp on the far right side of the back leather. There are signs of the stamp being there though. The leather has great shape and overall quality, but there is some surface wear and scuffing on the exterior. The interior is clean. The back belt loops are in tact. The stitching on this holster is all in tact and original.
