7/19/17 – This is an original WW2 era 1942 dated hardshell P.38 holster. The back of the holster is “gcx” maker coded with a 1942 date stamp, waffen eagle WaA930, and P.38 stamp. The holster was sold to us as part of Warren Buxton’s collection sold at Julia auction. The winning bidder let us sell his holsters for him. The holster has nice black leather in excellent condition. Strong overall, and a clean interior. The stitching is all original and in tact, but there is some black polish over the stitching, meaning this holster was most likely polished at some point. However this is a minor deterrent from an overall very nice, all original holster.
