7/18/19 – This is an original 1942 dated P.38 holster. The back leather is maker stamped, waffen WaA727 military proofed, and 42 dated. The leather and stitching is all original. The leather normal pliability and initials stamped into the interior leather as well as on the back toe of leather (this GI really didn’t want anyone taking his holster). The leather has faded black ink so it looks more dark brown today. The stitching is all in tact.
