2/9/22 – This is a matching and original Nazi Mauser Luger from 1942. Original and correct internal and external metal parts. Unmarked grips and an unmarked magazine base. Mag box is fxo and E/37 marked. The finish on the pistol is original but somewhat hard to rate. There’s not a lot of bluing loss – high edge wear on sideplate and muzzle and a little more on the grip straps. But there is oxidation/patina in several areas and some pitting on the frame under the grips where it seems a little moisture got in. The grips jiggle slightly so it’s likely they were replaced at some point. The gun has a mint bore, interestingly, so it doesn’t seem this one was fired much.
