4/3/23 – This is an original 1942 dated holster for a Mauser HSc pistol. The holster is very well marked with a waffen military acceptance proof on the closure strap. Under the closure strap on the side flap is “jhg 42” for the maker and date code. Finally, the interior leather is ink stamped “Mauser 7,65”. The holster has some honest surface wear and aging throughout the leather. There’s surface wrinkling on the exterior leather on the top of the holster as well as on the closure strap. There’s mild surface scuffing on the toe and magazine pouch. All original stitching intact and excellent. Normal pliability.
