10/6/22 – This is an original Mauser HSC holster from 1942. The holster is well marked, with a waffen proof stamp on the closure strap, “jhg 42” maker code and date stamp under the closure strap, and an interior Mauser 7,65 ink stamp. The ink stamp is somewhat faded but still visible. The holster leather shows typical signs of previous use and aging but no major problems. All original stitching is tight and intact.
