11/12/21 – This is an original 1942 dated K98 bayonet with a matching serial numbered scabbard. The bayonet blade is excellent with very nice finish throughout. Maker stamped “cvl” (WKC code) and dated on one side with the serial number stamped on the other. The handle has surface rust throughout the metal parts. There’s similar surface rust and dark patina throughout the scabbard. No dents, however. See photos.
