4/12/23 – This is a very nice example of a Long Branch No 4 Mk 1 issued to the British military in 1942. It is all matching (including the wood stock) and has the proper British proofs throughout. Tiny import mark on the left side of the trigger guard. This one comes with a “No 4 MK II” bayonet (with scabbard) and a canvas sling. It has retained about 93% of its black enamel finish with most of the wear and chipping in the finish around the muzzle and front barrel. Minor wear around the high edges in general and some areas of light chipping in the finish on the receiver and bolt handle. Minty wood stock with only a few minor dings. Rack number painted onto the left side of the butt stock. Minty bore.
