04/28/20 – This is an original WW2 Beretta Model 1934, manufactured in 1942. This pistol was issued to the Italian Army. It has the proper “RE” military proof on the left side of the gun, on the tang. All numbered parts are matching. No import marks. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. It has retained ~85% of its original bluing. Most of the wear is on the high edges of the slide and muzzle. There are also one or two areas of wear on the front strap. There is minor pin-pricking on the straps. There are also a few small areas of discoloration here and there. The gun functions properly. It comes with a proper magazine. The bore is nice – decent rifling, but there is some minor frosting. The grips are excellent – no major chips or scratches.
