4/20/24 – This is a 1942 dated Colt / S&W 1917 Revolver Holster. This holster is maker marked and dated. On the closure strap you can see in the photos, “42” some maker below that, and on the tip of the closure strap “D.C…” where I cannot make out the last letter. The holster has some significant surface cracking throughout. All the cracking is just surface level and doesn’t pass completely through the leather. The inside of the holster is clean with good stable pliability.
