3/1/21 – This is an excellent example of an Underwood M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1942-43. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added, most likely for the Korean war. Most parts are marked with the Underwood “.U.” marking. The stock is lightly marked “Trimble” inside the sling well but has a “.U.” marking as well. Faint military cartouche on the right side. Underwood barrel. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition with minor handling marks. The stock is excellent but has been sanded. The bore is minty. Comes with a “UN” marked magazine. A parts list and their markings is included below.
