6/15/23 – This is a nice example of an AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military proofs throughout, even on the small parts. This gun was captured by the Russians at the end of WW2, as evidenced by its dark “Russian Dipped” finish and “Russian X” marking on the left side of the slide. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are areas of pin-pricking on the front strap and left side of the slide. Some light scratching on the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent bakelite grips – the right grip is waffen-proofed, the left is not. Comes with an “Eagle 135” marked Mauser magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pitting throughout. De-cocker is functional.
