2/18/22 – This is a nice example of a scarce Russian SVT-40. Made in 1941 at the Tula factory, it’s mismatched throughout but not a refurbished or import marked example. The receiver and magazine are ‘SA’ marked, indicating Finnish capture. General thinning of the finish on metal parts but no notable areas of pitting. Stock is in excellent condition aside from a small surface crack on the left end of the buttstock. Comes with cleaning rod. Bore has good rifling but deep frost throughout and is very dirty/needs a real cleaning.
