3/22/22 – This is an original NSKK Dagger from 1941. The dagger comes with an original scabbard and hanger. The scabbard ring (for attaching the hanger) has been soldered on, likely a post war repair. The pin is also missing near this area. The scabbard is otherwise in great shape with a nice black painted finish. The hanger is original and marked by Assmann on the clip. The blade has very nice cross-graining and is RZM stamped on the reverse with a maker code for Tiger. Also 1941 dated on the blade. There are no signs of sharpening and only some mild spots of oxidation. There is surface patina on the hand guard and pommel. The wood handle is in great condition.
