12/22/22 – This is a excellent example of a scarce Russian SVT-40. Made in 1941 at the Izhevsk factory, it’s arsenal refurbished and has etched serial numbers throughout. All matching except for the magazine. Light import mark and added serial number on the receiver. Excellent condition throughout – very little actual finish loss, but there are some areas of pin-pricking under the bluing here and there Some wear on the butt plate. Stock is in terrific condition and matching. Includes a canvas sling, cleaning rod, bayonet, scabbard, and leather frog. The bore has good rifling with just some minor frosting in the grooves.
