8/12/24 – This is an overall excellent condition 1941 dated P.38 holster from WW2. The holster has a cut interior lift strap, but this looks to have been intentionally removed by a previous owner as the cut is clean, and a piece of the interior remains, as shown. The rest of the holster is excellent with strong black leather that has mild pliability and a clean interior. These early P.38 holsters were heavily used during the war, so it’s difficult to find a 1941 example in this condition. The back leather is waffen military proof stamped above the maker code (bmo) and date (41) stamps. There’s also a P.38 designation stamp. The stitching is all tight and original, again in excellent overall condition. Price reduced due to the cut lift strap, although this is a very mild takeaway on an otherwise excellent example.
