4/1/24 – This is an original 1941 dated P.38 holster from WW2. The 1941 is a relatively early and scarce date for these holsters. This example is in great condition with all original stitching and leather intact. The leather has mild pliability but is generally strong with light surface wrinkling and scuffs throughout the exterior leather. Some surface wrinkling and cracking on the closure strap but this is only surface wear and the strap is structurally sound and strong. Nice, clean interior leather. The stitching is excellent throughout except for a few loose stitches on the back belt loops, but this doesn’t affect structural integrity or function – they’re all securely fastened. The back lather is maker stamped, dated, and waffen proof stamped.
