8/22/22 – This is an original 1941 dated P.38 holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped “fsx 41” on the back leather. These stamps are faint but still visible, and are a fairly uncommon combination of date and maker. There’s a waffen military proof stamp under these markings as well as a P.38 stamp on the back leather. The leather is in great overall condition. Minimal pliability and most of the wear is found on the lid piece of leather and closure strap. There’s some surface wrinkling and mild scuffing / surface wear. Nice interior leather. No notable stitching issues.
