4/7/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mosin-Nagant Model 1891/30 rifle issued to the Russian military in 1941. The gun is mismatched and has a faint import mark on the right side of the barrel. This gun was reworked at a Finnish arsenal, as evidenced by the Finnish “SA” marking on the receiver. There is wear on the barrel bands and very light freckling on the receiver and base of the magazine. The butt plate has no finish. The stock is very nice with light scratches throughout and an “X” scratched into the left side. The bore has decent rifling, but there is some light spotty oxidation in the grooves.
