7/28/23 – This is a nice example of a BYF 41 Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching, except for the rear toggle pin, and has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. Comes as a rig with a 1941-dated holster, a reproduction Luger tool, and two mismatched police magazines. The back of the holster has 4 small hole repairs. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. The wear is concentrated mostly around the muzzle, along the barrel, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Light scratchy wear on the grip straps and on the left side of the frame. Fitted with excellent “Eagle 655” proofed wood grips. The bore has strong rifling with light freckling throughout.
