7/11/23 – This is an original 1941 dated Mauser HSC or M1934 pistol holster. The holster is well marked with a waffen military eagle proof stamp on the closure strap, a maker and date code stamp under the closure strap, and a Mauser 7,65 designation ink stamp on the interior leather. The ink stamp is faint, but still visible, and there’s an added name “Duane C. Coggin” just above this marking on the interior leather. The holster leather is in good overall condition with some surface wrinkling and mild wear throughout the exterior. The magazine pouch has a small scratch on the leather and general edge wear. The side flap has some surface wrinkling, as does the top leather. The stitching is all original and intact except for about 4-5 missing stitches on the side flap, but this is minor and doesn’t affect functionality.
