10/28/20 – This is an original 1941 dated Luger holster from WW2. Interestingly, this holster has been embellished with a Navy anchor on the front, as well as some “trench art” or a soldier’s imprinting of a swastika on the front lid – see photos. The back leather is well stamped with a “gut” (fairly rare) maker, 1941 date, waffen proof, and P.08 stamp. Some light surface scuffing and wrinkling, but overall in very good condition with normal pliability and no excessive wear. Stitching is all original and in tact.
