8/12/24 – This is an original 1941 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is in great condition, near excellent overall except for some surface cracking on the closure strap. Despite this, the strap is still structurally sound and intact, as the cracks do not go deep into the leather. The rest of the black leather is clean with normal pliability and mild surface wrinkling but no major flaws. Clean interior leather as well. The back leather is strongly struck with a crisp maker code, date stamp, P.08 designation stamp, and a waffen military proof stamp. Excellent, tight and original straw colored stitching throughout. These are desirable examples as they were made toward the end of Luger production during WW2, and dare often found paired with Black Widow Lugers.
