12/10/20 – This is an original 1941 dated Luger holster from WW2. The back of the holster is maker stamped and dated, but these are VERY faint. The maker appears to be 3 initials, the first letter unknown, but the other two appear to be “ng”. There is a very faint “41” underneath that. This is very hard to see in photos. There’s also a faint waffen proof stamp and P.08 stamp on the back leather. The holster has some surface wear and wrinkling on the front leather but this is not deep cracking. The leather has normal pliability and no major flaws. The stitching is all original but there are a few missing stitches where the lid attaches to the body of leather.
