1/30/18 – This is a rare 1941 dated Luftwaffe PP dropping style holster. The dropping style is specific to the Luftwaffe, due to the lift straps on the exterior of the holster that were for pilots so they could have easier access to their sidearms if needed. This is the type II – with the lift straps on the exterior as opposed to the interior (as seen in the type I). The holster is in excellent condition with minimal wear. The front leather and top leather has light surface wrinkles, but none of these are excessive. The interior leather is fairly clean and the ink stamp is still in tact. The ink stamp clearly indicates this is for a Walther mod. PP 7.65 pistol. There is also an interior luftwaffe eagle stamp, “hck” maker stamp, and 1941 date. The stitching is all original and in tact with no notable flaws. Overall a very nice and rare holster. Guaranteed original .
