10/27/21 – This is an original 1941 dated K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard. The scabbard has some surface patina and beginning signs of rust throughout, as shown. no major dents on the scabbard however. The blade has some mild finish loss and surface wear but no major issues nor any signs of sharpening. There is mild patina on the metal of the handle.
