9/14/21 – This is an original 1941 dated K98 bayonet with a matching numbered scabbard and a leather frog. The frog is dated 1940 and maker stamped on the back. The blade and scabbard are numbered 589k and in excellent overall condition. There is no denting or major wear on the scabbard, only mild finish loss. The blade hasn’t been sharpened and retains most of its’ original finish.
