5/18/20 – This is an original hard shell P.38 holster, made in 1941. It is clearly waffenamt and maker marked, “eww”. The holster is in excellent condition. There are light scuff marks here and there and an area of scuffing/discoloration near the belt loops. The metal plate on the top strap still as some of the original paint. Leather is soft and workable.
