8/1/22 – This is a very nice example of a “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching, has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs, and comes equipped with a nice set of period-correct black bakelite “Black Widow” grips. The gun has retained about 93% of its original finish. There is minor wear on the side plate, on the side rails, and around the muzzle. Minor thinning along the barrel. A small spot of discoloration on the right side of the frame. Some very light freckling and tiny scratches here and there on both grip straps. Comes with a period-correct “Black Widow” magazine – one tiny chip in the bakelite bottom. The bore has great rifling with light freckling throughout.
