1/26/22 – This is a very nice example of a Berlin-Lubecker K98 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is almost entirely matching including the stock, butt plate, and rear sight. The only mismatched part is the bolt. The chamber is dated 1941 and has the “duv” Berlin-Lubecker factory code. Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. Generally, there is minor wear concentrated around the high edges and some minor thinning on the barrel, barrel bands, and floor plate. Small dots of oxidation covering most of the metal parts. The stock is very nice with only minor dings, dents, and bruises here and there. There are visible waffen proofs on the wrist and right side of the butt stock. The bore is very nice overall, but there is an area of noticeable oxidation about halfway down the barrel.
