8/16/19 – This is an original 1940 dated Police Luger holster from WW2. The holster is in great overall condition with an early style brass closure knob. It’s somewhat unusual to see a 1940 date with a brass knob, as this was around the time the Germans switched to aluminum / nickle. The back of the holster is dated, police eagle stamped, and maker stamped. The leather is completely in tact, but there is some mild discoloration and wrinkling on the front leather & closure strap. The stitching is all in tact except for a few minor stitches missing in the front securing strap. See photos.
