12/29/20 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. It has the proper “Eagle 655” Nazi military acceptance proofs. It is all matching except the side plate. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original bluing. There is minor thinning on the straps and barrel. Minor wear around the muzzle, side plate, and high edges of the frame. There is spotty oxidation on the straps and one area on the left side of the frame. Comes with nice un-numbered grips – small chip in the left panel. Also comes with a mismatched period-correct magazine. The bore is near-mint.
