4/22/22 – This is an all matching and original Army Mauser Luger from 1940. All numbered parts of the pistol match, including the original grips. Firing pin, hold open and toggle pin are all numbered and matching, as well. The pistol has 90% of the original blue remaining with a very nice profile, showing standard bluing loss on the sideplate, right side rail and left side of the muzzle (likely holster wear). The straps show some general patina and dulling, also. Bore is fairly shiny with strong rifling but has a little frost throughout the grooves. The grips have sharp checkering and no cracks or chips. Period original but mismatched magazine.
