2/27/24 – This is a very nice example of a “42 Code” Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1940. All matching and has the proper “Eagle 655” military acceptance proofs. There is a small threaded hole on the front face of the trigger guard, but we’re not sure what it is for. The original finish rates somewhere between 85-90% with thinning on the grip straps, general high edge wear, and wear around the muzzle. Fitted with “Eagle 655” proofed wood grips and comes with a mismatched “Eagle 655” proofed magazine. Excellent bore.
