9/3/21 – This is a very nice, original K98 bayonet from 1940 with a matching numbered scabbard. Also comes with a black leather frog that’s unit number stamped on the back leather. The bayonet blade is numbered 6200e with the “6” being a double-stamp. The reverse is maker stamped. The blade has excellent bluing throughout with some missing finish near the tip. Mild patina on the metal pommel. The scabbard has almost all of the finish gone, and a few very minor dents along with spotty patina discoloration.
