10/9/23 – This is a nice example of a Beretta Model 1934 issued to the Italian military in 1940. It is matching and has the proper “Crown RE” marking on the left side of the tang. The bluing rates somewhere between 85-90% with wear around the muzzle, on the high edges of the slide, and on the right front of the slide. An area of minor pitting and oxidation on the tang. Brown patina and pin-pricking on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct grips. Comes with a proper magazine. Very nice bore.
