11/14/23 – This is an original 1940 dated holster for a CZ-38 (CZ-39) pistol. These are also sometimes found with P.38 pistols as the shape and style is very similar. The holster is maker stamped, dated, and military proof stamped (waffen proofed) on the back leather. The front leather is stamped with a Finnish “SA” stamp, which indicates this was captured by the Fins during or after WW2. Great overall condition with clean interior leather, normal pliability, and all original stitching intact.
