3/6/23 – This is a nice example of a Winchester Model 42 pump action shotgun, manufactured in 1939 and chambered in .410. It is all matching and has retained roughly 80% of its bluing. We believe some areas have been touched up with cold blue. The majority of the finish loss is on the receiver and back half of the barrel where the wear is somewhat splotchy. Minor pin-pricking / dulling of the finish on both sides of the receiver. Excellent wood stock with just a few tiny bruises here and there. Very nice Winchester butt plate. Near-mint bore.
