6/19/18 – This is a very nice example of a complete 1939 Mauser luger rig, with both matching magazines, tool and 1936 dated holster. The holster is marked inside and out with the name of the GI who brought the rig back, as well as the serial number of the pistol. The pistol has about 93-94% original blue remaining, with holster wear on the high edges and some dulling to the finish on the straps. All numbered parts are matching, including both original magazines. The grips are not marked or numbered. The holster was made in 1936 and is maker and waffen marked, with the GI’s name scratched on the outside and written on the inside. The holster is complete with original E/63 proofed tool. Pistol has a nice bore that shows only minor frost.
