10/24/22 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1939. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 63” proofs. However, the side plate is not numbered and appears to have been buffed. It has retained about 93% of its bluing. The majority of the finish loss is on the back strap, where there is also some spotty oxidation. There is light spotty wear on the front strap. Minor wear on the side rails, and a few small dots of discoloration on the left side of the slide. Very minor muzzle wear. A few tiny handling marks along the barrel. Comes with very nice matching-numbered grips and a “42” marked armorers replacement magazine. The bore has strong rifling with light freckling throughout.
