8/14/24 – This is an original 1939 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is in very good overall condition despite some stitching issues. First, the top seam of double-lined stitching that connects the lid to the main body of leather has the central portion of stitching loose. The stitching is still present on the seam, but only fully sewn through the lid on the sides of the seam – shown in photos. This doesn’t affect functionality of the holster and lid, as it’s still firmly attached and secure. The second stitching issue is the re-stitching found on the lower right belt loop. This appears to be a period-correct repair. The rest of the holster has great condition, all original stitching. The leather has light surface scratches and scuffs. Normal pliability and use wear throughout. The back leather is maker stamped, date stamped, and waffen military proof stamped. The waffen proof is faint and faded but still visible under the date stamp. Priced according to condition.
