8/1/24 – This is a 1939 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is in very good overall condition with reddish-brown colored leather and iconic German reddish-colored stitching. The leather shows mild surface scuffing and handling wear and is soft and pliable. The stitching is great, except for some loose stitches on the upper right belt loop. This is shown in photos; the belt loop still has enough stitching intact to keep the belt loop in place. Fairly clean interior leather with normal use wear. The back leather is maker stamped by an uncommon maker, “O. Reichel”. There’s also a waffen military proof stamp and 1939 date stamp (small font, but close inspection shows the last digit as a “9”). Overall a nice wartime production example with honest use wear.
