5/4/20 – This is an original 1939 dated Luger holster from WW2. The holster is maker stamped by G.J. Ensink & Co. and dated 1939 on the back leather with a waffen proof stamp. The holster is in great shape overall except for the serial “N2949” scratched into both the top of the lid and the magazine pouch. The scratches are limited to the surface and do not penetrate the leather. Potentially a Kriegsmarine number, but we’re not sure the significance. The stitching is all original and in tact. The leather has normal pliability and exterior wear with very clean interior leather. Guaranteed original and authentic.
