10/21/21 – This is a matching K98 bayonet and scabbard. They’re both numbered 2418r. The blade has some surface discoloration and finish loss, mostly near the tip of the blade. No signs of sharpening. The scabbard has most of the finish missing, but no major dents or discolorations, only mild surface patina. The leather frog is maker stamped but too faint to decipher. Under the maker stamp is a faint LBA stamp for the Luftwaffe Supply Dept.
