1/6/23 – This is an original 1939 dated K98 bayonet with an original matching numbered scabbard. The scabbard also comes with an attached leather frog which is stamped on the back with a RBNr. as shown. The bayonet has some honest wear throughout, with most of the blued finish missing from the blade. The blade is not sharpened, however and has a nice edge. There is some mild surface pitting near the end of the groove and within the groove on the blade. The metal hilt has surface patina and discoloration throughout but no rust or pitting. The scabbard is in similar condition but has no dents. Priced according to condition.
